Sing With Us!
Rehearsals are open for anyone to attend. If you're interested in joining us or just finding out more about our group, please feel free to come and get to know us. Colla Voce rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7 PM to 10 PM at the ODC Theater, Mott Studio, at 3153 17th Street (@ Shotwell) in San Francisco.
Auditions for new signers are ongoing. Come to any Thursday rehearsal and meet us! Auditions will follow the rehearsal.
We're interested in hearing from you! Colla Voce is always seeking singers who are committed to rehearsals, performances and our mission of giving back to our community. Audition Requirements
- A two to three minute prepared piece of your choosing that demonstrates your vocal range and ability. The piece may be accompanied or unaccompanied. If accompanies, be sure to bring music in your key.
- Perform a brief sight singing exercise.
- Perfrom a brief pitch matching exercise.

- We sing a very broad range of music, from classical to jazz to pop, and we sing it well.
- As a small ensemble, we offer many opportunities for musical growth and expression.
- As a small ensemble, each singer is more able to participate fully in the group and shape it's direction -- what, where, for whom and especially how we sing.
- We give back to our community. Besides raising awareness, we traditionally give back 100% of the concert ticket proceeds to a local non-profit community organization.
